Yamasho Ceramics IRONSTONE Deep Plate φ18cm

This is a deep ironstone (hard ceramic) plate with a patterned rim. Its diameter is similar to a medium-sized plate, but it can be used as a dessert plate or a small soup plate.

This piece was made by Yamasho Porcelain Factory, probably in the 1950s or 1960s. It is unused and in very good condition, with some dents and grain patterns from the manufacturing process, as well as some minor scratches and flea marks from storage, but these are not noticeable.

The color is close to pure white and there is no crazing. Hard ceramics are tableware that you can enjoy as they develop, showcasing the crazing and staining, so we hope you will take good care of them and enjoy watching their character gradually improve .

Points to note
Because it is water-absorbent, avoid soaking it in water for a long time, and make sure to dry it thoroughly after washing before storing it. Also, do not use it in a microwave oven.
