TNT IRONSTONE medium plate φ20.5cm

This is a rare plain-rimmed plate made of ironstone (hard ceramic). It is approximately 20.5 cm in diameter and has a slightly distorted shape. The maker and age are unknown, but we suspect it is quite old, dating from before the 1950s.

You may notice unevenness in the glaze, small holes, grain marks, and eye marks from the manufacturing process, as well as small crazing, stains, ink marks, and scratches. Items with kiln marks (burnt marks) or chips from the manufacturing process will be discounted.

Ironstone is a type of tableware that can be enjoyed as it develops, admiring its appearance with stains and crazing, so we hope you will take good care of it and enjoy watching its character gradually improve.

Precautions <br data-mce-fragment="1">Because it is water-absorbent, avoid soaking it in water for a long time, and make sure to dry it thoroughly after washing before storing it. Also, do not use it in a microwave oven.
