SASAI IRONSTONE Deep Plate φ18cm

This is a deep ironstone (hard ceramic) plate with a patterned rim. Its diameter is similar to a medium-sized plate, but it can be used as a dessert plate or a small soup plate.

The manufacturer is Sasai Porcelain, and we believe it was made sometime between the 1950s and 1960s. As it is unused, it is in very good condition, with some dents and grain patterns from the manufacturing process, as well as some small scratches from storage, but these are not noticeable.

The color is a slightly grayish off-white. The crazing is quite fine, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it changes over time.

Points to note
Because it is water-absorbent, avoid soaking it in water for a long time, and make sure to dry it thoroughly after washing before storing it. Also, do not use it in a microwave oven.
