Imperial Ironstone (Japanese hardware) Plate with Grass Design, φ20cm

This is a NIKKO plate with an orange grass pattern on the rim. The stamp on the bottom reads "IMPERIAL IRONSTONE CHINA NKPORCELAIN CO." It's difficult to determine the exact date, but it likely dates to before the 1940s.

Although this is deadstock and in excellent condition, there are some kiln marks from the manufacturing process, such as stains, small dents, eye marks, and crazing (severe kiln marks have been excluded). Please note that there may also be some small scratches that appear to have been caused during storage.

It is a medium-sized plate measuring just over 20cm, and can be used for a wide range of purposes, from serving side dishes to serving as a side dish, making it perhaps the most versatile size.

Ironstone is a type of tableware that can be enjoyed as it develops, admiring its appearance with stains and crazing, so we hope you will take good care of it and enjoy watching its character gradually improve.

Precautions <br data-mce-fragment="1">Because it is water-absorbent, avoid soaking it in water for a long time, and make sure to dry it thoroughly after washing before storing it. Also, do not use it in a microwave oven.
