It took nearly two weeks to adjust the time, which had been drifting from day to day, but we were able to get it to within one minute per day. However, we think it will still drift in the future, so we ask that you be patient and adjust it yourself.

The watch itself is not the original from the time of sale, but has been slightly altered. The dial has been removed and replaced with a donut-shaped plate with the numbers removed. The hands have also likely been replaced.

The back panel has a hole cut out for the speed adjustment lever, but it's possible that this back panel, and perhaps even the movement, has been replaced with a different one of the same size.

I imagine the movement has an 8-day winding period, but if you don't wind it, it will stop after a few days, so it's best to wind it every day. Also, if you tilt or lay it down, it tends to stop quite easily.

There are small scratches on the wood, slight cloudiness on the glass, and some gaps in the wood joints. The metal fittings on the spring winding holes tend to come loose, but there is no significant damage. This is probably a one-of-a-kind clock, so if you like it, be sure to get your hands on one. It can also stand on its own, so it can be enjoyed as a table clock.
