This is a Seth Thomas deck clock from 1944, near the end of World War II. There is a small mark on the back of the case, but it was manufactured by General Electric. The case is made of patterned black Bakelite, and the dial is also black. The numbers and lettering are white, and there is almost no fading.

There are some small scratches on the dial and some scuffs on the back of the case, but there is no noticeable damage and it can be said to be in fairly good condition for a deck clock of this type.

Currently, the watch operates within ±1 minute per day, but this may become more inaccurate over time, so please be patient and adjust the time daily and by adjusting the slow-speed adjustment at the 12 o'clock position. The mainspring has an 8-day winding period and turns in the same direction as the watch, but please be careful not to overwind it.

It weighs 1.3 kg, so when fixing it to the wall, choose a place with a sturdy base. It is quite stable, so you can also use it on a bookshelf or other surface where it will not roll.

Adjusting the speed <br data-mce-fragment="1">If the time is running slow, turn the dial towards "F", and if it is running too fast, turn the dial towards "S" to adjust it.
