This is a Seikosha electric clock that is believed to date from the 1930s or 1940s and is powered by electricity rather than a mainspring. It is a fairly large clock with a maximum diameter of 35cm, and the case is likely made of brass.
The movement was damaged, so it was replaced with a battery-powered quartz movement. The hole on the back makes it easy to change the battery and set the time. It uses one AA battery (a manganese battery is recommended). Please note that while the watch has a second hand, it does not function.
There is some damage, such as stains and discoloration on the dial, and scratches and dullness on the metal parts, but no significant damage to the glass. This watch has a rugged, solid impression that is not found in wooden watches.
Size <br data-mce-fragment="1">Back diameter approx. 35.2cm, dial diameter approx. 28.7cm, depth approx. 8.6cm, weight approx. 2.14kg
