This Seikosha marine clock is quite old, with discoloration on the dial and peeling black paint on the case.

The body is probably made of brass and weighs just under 2kg, making it quite heavy. It is thought to date to the 1950s.

Although the maintenance history is unknown, the movement appears to be in good condition and is currently operating within ±1 minute per day.

In terms of condition, there is a vertical scratch on the front glass windshield and the knob on the left side of the lid is missing (a screw of the correct size has been installed for the time being).

Also, one of the screws that secures the lid is not securely fastened, so if you close the lid in that state, it will shift and hit the needle. This may cause damage, so please make sure to close the lid so that it fits snugly into the groove on the main body.

It appears to have an 8-day winding time, so winding the mainspring once a week is sufficient. However, the time will deviate slightly from day to day, so please adjust it frequently to match the time signal. If the time becomes significantly off, please patiently adjust it using the slow-wind adjustment at the 12 o'clock position.

Adjusting the speed <br data-mce-fragment="1">If the time is slowing down, move the lever towards "F", and if it is running too fast, move it towards "S" to adjust it.
