Anonymous beige mug

This beige mug has a shape that seems familiar but is rarely seen. The body is cylindrical and about 7.7cm tall. It looks small, but it holds about 180ml when filled to 80%. The handle is two fingers long and has a rather stylish design.

There is no marking, so the maker is unknown, but we suspect it dates to before the 1960s. There are stains and small scratches, and a small amount of light blue paint on the handle (probably under the glaze), but there are no cracks or chips.

This versatile mug can be used for coffee, cocoa, soup, milk, or even dessert.
