White porcelain cup and saucer

This is a set of white porcelain cups and saucers that are believed to have been made in Japan before the 1970s. It is rare to find something this thick made in Japan.

There are some small scratches on the saucer that occurred during storage, but the cup is in very good condition and shows almost no signs of use. However, please note that there may be small stains and unevenness in the glaze that occurred during manufacturing.

The capacity is 140ml when it is completely filled, and 110ml when it is 80% full. It is slightly larger than a demitasse cup. Although the rim is thick, the corners on the inside are rounded, making it gentle on the mouth. It is perfect for not only coffee, but also hot chocolate, ice cream, and more.
