Embroidered cloth used in Miao ethnic costumes

This fabric was originally used for the cuffs of the costumes of the Miao people, who live widely from southern China to Southeast Asia. The regular embroidery pattern, which makes full use of satin stitching, is not overly flashy and gives a subdued impression.

Although it does not have as strong an impact as a fabric completely covered in embroidery, the modern design and use of muted threads make it a very cohesive piece.
