This melamine mug was made for the US military. There is no marking on the bottom, but it is a deadstock item from the 1960s made by Halsey.
The color is a shade of camel or cinnamon. There is a protrusion on the opposite side of the handle to allow for neat stacking. Since it is unused, it is in basically good condition, but please note that there may be some scratches from storage.
Melamine began to spread rapidly in the 1950s and 1960s, and is now commonly used in office, hospital, and school cafeterias. It is heat-resistant and shock-resistant, so it is safe for small children to use and is also recommended for outdoor activities.
