Brown line mug (deadstock)

This small mug made in Japan was found in the delightful condition of deadstock. It was probably manufactured for export to the United States and is thought to be made of stoneware.

It may be difficult to convey the color in a photo, but it is a pale off-white color with chocolate brown lines at the top and bottom.

Although there are some small stains that occurred during manufacturing and slight scratches from storage, since it has never been used it is in very good condition.

The capacity is small, about 150ml, so it can be used to fill the cup to the brim, but it can also be used for coffee or tea, as well as when you want to drink a little soup or dessert.
