Thread cutting tool

This is a thread cutting tool used in bicycle shops. It is a special tool for cutting threads and is made in Japan. There are no thread cutters of this type available these days, so it seems quite old, but the exact age is unknown.

There are six plates fitted to the bars, which can be removed by loosening the screws. The plates have the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10 engraved on them, and the words crank pin, brake pipe, etc. engraved on the sides, so they may be reserved for bicycle shops.

Although it has been cleaned, please note that some rust and tarnish may remain.
