Rusty stool

This is a very simple Showa-era stool. When it arrived, it was covered in red rust and there was still sponge left on the seat in places, but we removed the sponge, cleaned off the rust, applied oil and polished it up.

There are traces of rust all over the surface and the legs are a little bent, but I think it has a nice texture and is strong enough to sit on. The seat height is about 41cm, which is a little low. Of course, it can be used not only for sitting, but also as a stand for plants or other items .
