Wooden box with peeling paint

The gray paint is peeling and the wood is warped in places, but I think the color and aging will appeal to some people. This is an American wooden box with an outstanding feel.

There are some remaining letters on the tabletop that read "ONTRACT NO.", so it's probably military. Judging from the wood, I think it's from before the 1940s.

The width is approximately 44cm. The interior depth is large enough to fit an A4 size document. It can be used for storage, as a stand, as a table, or in your interior. The front fastener is stiff, so if you try to close it too hard, it will be difficult to open. Thank you for your understanding.
