NORITAKE pot

This is a Noritake pot with a warm, amber glaze. It has a simple design with lines on the rim and sides, and unlike a bowl, the bottom is flat. It is made of stoneware and is thick and plump.

The pot has some crazing on the handle and a little unevenness in the glaze on the base, but there are very few scratches associated with use. The saucer has some scratches from rubbing against the base of the pot, but this suggests that it was not used very often.

Stoneware is usually said to be microwave safe, but we recommend avoiding direct heat and ovens.
