This namasu (simmered dish) is covered in extremely detailed patterns. It was apparently made by an old family in Nagano, and the box it came with has the words "Made in early January, 1896" written in ink.

The pattern is intricate, consisting of vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines, and shows that a great deal of effort went into making it. The condition is very good, with some minor scratches and discoloration within the base, but no significant damage. However, please note that there are kiln marks from the firing process, such as burnt marks (furimono), small holes, bleeding of the pattern, and areas where the glaze is not applied.

If there are any dents or large kiln marks, we will offer a 1,000 yen discount and a 500 yen discount respectively after confirming your order (see photo at the bottom).

With a diameter of about 15cm, this deep plate is extremely versatile and can be used to serve side dishes or salads, as a serving plate for hot pot dishes, or for desserts.

Size : Diameter approx. 15cm, height approx. 4.3cm
