This square small dish was made around the Meiji period. It has an embossed pattern and is partially colored. There are some unglazed areas, small spots, and other kiln marks from the manufacturing process. There is also some blackening on the crazing and base, but it shows little signs of use and is in very good condition.

Although it is small, it can be used for a wide range of purposes, such as for soy sauce and condiments, or to hold pickles and nuts. Please note that some containers have the double circle pattern on the bottom, while others do not.
