Arabesque Kurawanka Plate (Sold Individually)

We have three Hasami ware Kurawanka plates from the mid-Edo period in stock. Kurawanka plates are miscellaneous utensils used on the sushi boats that sold prepared foods on the Yodo River, and are characterized by their thick construction for stability. Therefore, they are quite heavy.

There are small scratches, light stains, and chips on the base, but they are not very noticeable and can be said to be in good condition. However, pieces with many chips on the base (see the last photo) will be discounted.
