This andonzara (lantern tray) is thought to date from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period. It is placed inside a lantern and used as a tray to catch oil that drips from the oil tray.

The fan design is made with ink sprayed onto a stencil. It is slightly curved and has cracks and some sticking to the base, but it doesn't show signs of use and is in good condition .
