This andonzara (lantern tray) is thought to date from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period. It is placed inside a lantern and used as a tray to catch oil that drips from the oil tray.

The crane design is made with blown ink, which is a mist of ink sprayed onto a stencil. Please note that there may be crazing, stains, dents, and chips.
