Black painted pre-war trunk

This is a pre-war medical trunk that has been painted black. The black paint is also old, and there is some damage such as scratches, rust, peeling paint, and stains and peeling of the interior fabric, but it has been washed inside and out and dried in the sun.

It is made of a fiber material similar to a medical box, with metal reinforcement on the edges and corners. The words "Emergency Medical Box" (actually in the old font) are written on the surface, and a faint cross mark can be seen on both sides.

The depth is just right to fit an LP record (the lid won't close if a record is inside). You could remove the interior lining and put in new fabric. It could also be used as a small item organizer and a cafe table.
