This is a Stoneware mug made in Japan in the 1960s and 1970s and shipped to the United States. At the time, ceramic mugs were also mass-produced and exported, but Stoneware tableware was thin yet durable, with no rough edges, and was far superior in quality to ceramic mugs.

This small, simple design features a thick brown line at the bottom. It's a grayish white with a subtle sheen and a fine grain pattern. The handle is one or two fingers wide, and holds about 220ml when filled to the brim.

The condition is very good, with very few scratches or stains. However, please note that there may be some small grains or irregularities that may have occurred during manufacturing.

Compared to thick diner mugs, this vintage mug has a larger capacity for its size, and is light and easy to handle, making it a great choice for female customers.

Regarding handling of stoneware
Stoneware is durable, non-absorbent, and microwave-safe. The stamp on the bottom reads "FREEZER TO OVEN DISHWASHER SAFE," so it can withstand sudden temperature changes and be used in the dishwasher.
