wooden pillow

A tall wooden pillow. It is thought to be from the Qing or Joseon dynasty, but the exact date is unknown.

The central part is 11cm high, but according to the documents, in the Qing and Korean dynasties, women in particular wore lavish hair decorations, so a high pillow was probably needed, similar to Japanese box pillows.

Although there are scratches, chips, cracks, and stains, the surface is polished and shiny, giving it a nice texture. It can be used as an object or as a display stand for small items by laying it on its side.
