Letterpress Printed Small Wooden Tray

This is a wooden tray that was used to pick up each type used in letterpress printing. It is also called a galley box, character selection box, or text selection box, but even though this small tray is the size of one hand, it becomes so heavy that it is difficult to carry when filled with type.

Use it to organize small items, store cassette tapes, turn it upside down to display your collection, or even use it as materials for creating art.

Although the item has been cleaned, there may be stains, blackening, chips, cracks, etc. Please note that each item may have different color, texture, and size.

There are two types of bases: one made of natural wood and one made of hardened wood chips. Please choose the one you prefer. If you have a preference for a lighter or darker color, we will select one from our stock and send it to you ( please write your preference in the "Add a note to your order" section when placing your order ).
