This wooden carving of a hippopotamus walks with its mouth open. It's palm-sized, and even the small ears and distinctive teeth are beautifully carved, but who made it? It's unclear where it came from or when.
There is a line on the left side of the body, but I think it was probably drawn during production. There is a plug in the abdomen, but it doesn't seem like it will come off easily, so I'll leave it as is.
