Gooseneck lamp for sewing machines

This gooseneck light was used in a sewing factory. The shade is made of small steel and the bulb is a B-15. It has an on/off switch.

The simple, small shade, the shape of the switch, and the gooseneck make it clear that this lamp is a step forward from the OKUSUN and SANKEI lamps that imitated French lamps, but the size of the bulb remains French, so it would probably be from the 1960s or 1970s.

Although there are some scratches and tarnish, there is no noticeable rust and the unit is in good condition. The cord and plug were replaced with new ones as they were showing signs of wear. The base is fixed with screws and has three 5mm screw holes. It can be fixed to a desk or wall (it was fixed to the base with a C-clamp for the photo).
