WHITE BEAR Shirokuma brand solid fuel

This is a solid fuel can from White Product, a company that has been manufacturing and selling oil and fat products since its founding in 1919. It is dead stock, having been stored in a cardboard box, but the description on the can is written in katakana, so it appears to be quite old.

Usage is simple: open the lid, light the fuel, and then put the lid back on to extinguish the fire. The lid can be opened wide or just the small center part. A trivet is required.

The can has some rust and tarnish. Please note that it has been opened once to check the contents.

The design of the can is very nice, so I hope that once the fuel is used up, people will use it to store small items.
