Victor, known for its mugs, originally manufactured insulators, which are insulating devices for electrical wires. Fred M. Locke began production in New York in 1893 as "Locke Insulator Mfg.", making them a pioneer in the industry. Although the company has since been acquired and sold, it continues to manufacture insulators to this day under the name Victor Insulators.

This is a hi-top style item. The color is dark brown, and there is a chip on the top, but I hope you will see this as a positive accent. There are also some small scratches and areas where the surface has lost its luster, but no serious damage is seen.

The color is rarely seen in Japanese insulators, and the large size makes it stand out. You can enjoy displaying it as part of your vintage collection, or you can use it as a paperweight.
