Victor, known for its mugs, originally manufactured insulators, which are insulating devices for electrical wires. Fred M. Locke began production in New York in 1893 as "Locke Insulator Mfg.", making them a pioneer in the industry. Although the company has since been acquired and sold, it continues to manufacture insulators to this day under the name Victor Insulators.
This insulator is a type known as a cable top style, manufactured between 1935 and 1953. It is a soft off-white color that is close to white. Although there are some stains and small scratches, there is no damage such as cracks or chips, and it is in very good condition.
This type of insulator is rare in Japan, and its large size makes it stand out. You can enjoy displaying it as part of your vintage collection, or use it as a paperweight.
