US Military Food Container, 1984

This cooler box was used by the US military. It was originally a case for storing food containers. It can probably fit about 10 500ml plastic bottles, but the interior is compact compared to its appearance, so it must have good insulation.

The exterior looks quite worn. One of the handles appears to have come off, and a wire has been attached. The hinge on the back has also come off, so the lid tilts when opened. There are other signs of damage, such as scratches, dents, and peeling paint, but I think it looks even better than when it was new.

It can be used as a cooler box, or as a storage box for interior decoration.
