United States Army Shoulder Patches 1st-40th

Since the Civil War, the U.S. Army has sought an effective way to distinguish soldiers from different units, and shoulder patches (epaulets or shoulder sleeve insignia) were adopted as a solution toward the end of World War I. This book is the first in a series that explains U.S. Army shoulder patches from World War I through the Korean War, with a wealth of original photographs and period photographs.

The hard cover has been stored covered in plastic, and although there are scratches and creases in the plastic, the book itself is in good condition.
