This American-made rocking chair has a rustic feel. The manufacturer and age are unknown, but since it uses flathead screws, we imagine it's quite old.
The seat is made of woven bark and is quite firm, so it doesn't sink in too much. The size is neither too big nor too small, so it's perfect for the average Japanese body type. The armrests are set low, so it's very relaxing.
There are some cracks in the bark on the seat and in the wood, but these will not interfere with normal use.
