Tin tool storage

This small drawer is from America and is made of tin, not steel. There are no dividers inside except for the bottom shelf, so I imagine it was used to store tools and other items rather than parts.

The exterior has only been cleaned, leaving it looking naturally worn. There was a lot of rust inside the drawers, but we polished them, applied a thin layer of oil, and wiped them down with a cloth. We also made the drawers smoother.

There is still some rust left, but it is now much easier to use. I use it to organize and store small items such as tools, stationery, and parts.
