These salt and pepper shakers feature Uncle Moses, a character from the Pearl Milling Company, a manufacturer and seller of pancake mix and syrup. Originally, they were paired with Aunt Jemima, but this one is just Uncle Moses.
It's made of plastic and dates back to the 1950s or 1960s. It has a missing cap and some paint peeling, but even these imperfections add to its charm. Placing it somewhere in the middle of nowhere really adds a touch of elegance to any space.
