This mason jar is made by United Glass Bottle Manufacturers, a British company founded in 1913. The shape of the lid is the same as the Forster Atlas Type, so it is likely from the 1940s or 1950s.
The glass is thick, weighing in at a whopping 700g. There are no visible bubbles or irregularities, but there are faint horizontal lines. There are some scratches on the surface, but no noticeable stains or cloudiness, and the condition is good. The capacity is approximately 700ml up to the narrow end of the lid.
The jar has a glass lid that is fastened with a metal ring, making it very practical even today.
