Controlled Pottery Mortar

I thought the color was too dull for a mortar, so I turned it over and found a control number on it. It is a controlled pottery mortar fired during World War II.

The color is not pure white, but a grayish white. Because it is a mortar, the inside is unglazed and rough. A pestle is not included.

There are clumps of glaze and some darkening at the bottom, but there are no noticeable stains inside and the overall condition is quite good.

Size: Outer diameter approx. 15cm, height approx. 7.5cm
