This is a slightly smaller mug from Tepco, which still has a loyal following in the United States.
Tepco (Technical Porcelain China Ware Co.) was founded in 1918. Initially, the company manufactured insulators and other industrial porcelain products, but in the 1930s switched to producing tableware, and until 1968 produced tableware for hotels, diners, and the military.
The color is beige. The handle has sharp corners and is slightly wider than the width of two fingers. There are some small scratches, but they are not serious and the surface still has a good shine.
It's thickly constructed, so it feels heavy for its size. Perfect for those who like simple heavy mugs.
