Gear model

This model gear was used as a school teaching material. I thought it was a fairly recent item, but on closer inspection, I noticed that it uses flathead screws and the peeling label uses old-fashioned characters, so it's probably from before the 1950s.

There are some minor scratches, tarnish, and chipped legs on the bottom, but the exterior is in fairly good condition, so I imagine it hasn't been used much.

The gears rotate smoothly, so it would make a great educational tool and object.
