This slicer (a kitchen tool used to slice vegetables) was made in the early 1900s by the Tucker & Dorsey Manufacturing Company in the United States. It's hard to get a sense of its size, but it's quite large, measuring 76cm in length, and has a movable square grid that acts as a guide.
The knife did not originally have legs, but the previous owner must have installed them. It is slightly wobbly, but I don't think it will be a problem if you use it as a cafe table. There are scratches, stains, and rust on the fasteners, but the blade is not very rusty.
These slicers are called kraut slicers or cabbage slicers, but in the old days they were also called mandolins because of the pleasant sound they make in the kitchen.
The tabletop has sharp edges and is therefore dangerous, so it might be a good idea to insert a glass plate into the groove where the masu is fitted to turn it into a cafe table. The groove is just over 7mm wide.
Size: Main body length 76cm, width 27.3cm, height 39cm
Masu width 27cm, depth 23cm, height 8.8cm
