Octopus-shaped seed bottle

A container for storing plant seeds and other specimens is called a seed bottle, and there are two types: a triangular pyramid type and a bale type. This product is the bale type, also known as an octopus bottle. The triangular pyramid type is called a squid bottle.

Seed bottles are still manufactured by lab equipment manufacturers, but this is a rare pre-war octopus bottle. The glass has bubbles and distortions, giving it a very refined texture. As it is an old glass bottle, there are some small scratches and a cloudiness that cannot be removed, but no major damage is visible.

It should have originally come with a cork stopper, but it is no longer available. You can find the cork and fill it with coffee beans or spices, or decorate it with seeds or fluff, or of course, just leave it as it is and it is a beautiful piece that is pleasing to the eye.
