This was one of the many round paper trays that arrived in stock, and it is the only one made of woven straw or something similar that has been painted. I imagine it was used as a cocoon tray, and compared to regular paper cocoon trays, the edges are more clearly raised.
There is some paint peeling in some areas, but it has been cleaned to the extent that it will not remove any more paint. Just like paper trays, it is light and easy to handle, so you can use it in a variety of ways, depending on your imagination, such as to hold potpourri or dried flowers, or to display accessories.
