Star Disc Bobbins Deadstock Bobbins 56 pieces

These are American Thread Company sewing threads from the 1950s-1960s. They are deadstock and were left in their boxes. The cardboard box says "36," but there are 56 threads inside, so the box may not be original.

The thread is black and comes on a paper bobbin. Old threads can break easily, so we don't recommend using them for practical purposes, but when I tried pulling a few pieces, they didn't break easily.

Although there is some damage such as discoloration, the paper box is nice and the sight of the bobbins lined up in an orderly fashion is quite attractive.
