STAEDTLER Whetstone Set

This is a Staedtler whetstone housed in a wooden case. The clear front is made of plastic or celluloid. The case has flathead screws, so it's probably quite old.

The whetstones are stick-shaped, and there are 91 of them in total. Their cross sections include round, triangular, square, oval, and plate-shaped, and I suspect they are probably for carving knives. The inside of the case has a raised bottom, so I imagine they were recycled pencil cases and displayed in the store in this way.

There will be some stains and dirt on the case that cannot be removed. Please note that all whetstones are unused, but may have slight scratches.
