This square wall clock is quite rare among Japanese antique clocks. The logo is a diamond with the letters S and O overlapping each other. The maker is unknown, but we imagine it was made around the early Showa period.

The movement was damaged and replaced with a quartz movement. The second hand is independent and does not move.

There are few scratches on the glass surface and no noticeable cloudiness, but the dial has scratches and peeling paint. The wood has small scratches, dullness, and blackening, but there is no serious damage, and the watch is in a condition that allows it to be enjoyed as a patina.

The watch uses one AA battery. To change the battery, open the door at the bottom of the watch body. The time setting dial is located next to the battery box, although it is difficult to see.

It weighs approximately 2.6 kg, so please make sure to secure the brackets firmly when attaching it to the wall.

Size: Height 37.7cm, width 37.7cm, depth 11.4cm, weight approx. 2.6kg
