COLUMBIA Reel Set of 14

This is a package of reels for recording tape from Columbia, Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo, and Toshiba. All Columbia and Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo reels come with tape, while Toshiba comes with one reel with tape and four reels only. Incidentally, Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo is the predecessor of Sony.

The case is made of paper, but it is thick and sturdy, so it won't lose its shape easily. The tape reel has handwritten dates on the back. The dates written are between 1969 and 1975, but the production date is likely a little earlier. Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo's Soni-Tape is thought to be from the 1950s.

The case can be used to store small items, and it could also be used as a case for small gifts. The packaging design is so nice that it would look beautiful just stacked and placed on a shelf.
