SONY AM Pocket Radio

The Sony TR-610 pocket radio was released in 1958. It was a huge hit, selling 500,000 units in two years, and was so popular that counterfeits began appearing on the market at the time.

Due to its excellent design and high quality, it appears to have been exported in large quantities, and is listed at fairly high prices on sites like eBay.

I put the batteries in and was able to listen to three stations, but the volume was quite low even at maximum volume. The earphones have not been tested, so this is reflected in the price. Please note that the stand cannot be fixed at an angle, and there are scratches on the case and some damage to the speaker.
