Shipping crates are wooden boxes that were used to transport various items. Shipping crates are still made in various sizes today, but this is a slightly older item from around the 1960s.

There are scratches, some chips, and rust on the metal fittings, and the areas where it has been dragged or stacked have turned black, but there is no strong sun damage or moldy smell, so it can be said to be in fairly good condition.

It's a fairly large storage box, large enough to comfortably fit two records side by side. It's not made from the finest materials, but it's well-made for its intended purpose. I think it could also be used as a cafe table while also being used as storage.
