Presto Glass Top Closures (replacement lid/wide mouth)

Nowadays, most mason jar lids are either a thin metal disc that is fastened with a ring, or a glass lid that is held down with wire, but in the past, there were lids that were fastened with a metal ring to the glass lid.

Among them, the Presto lid, which uses a rust-resistant aluminum ring, is not only practical but also outstanding in terms of design. The structure is such that a glass disc closes the mouth of the mason jar, and then an aluminum ring is tightened on top to secure it in place.

Glass does not rust, which is an advantage as it is easy to use for storing food, and aluminum is corrosion-resistant, so it does not develop the so-called red rust, and can be used hygienically, just like a glass disc.

Available with three different lid designs, this is a highly recommended item for customers looking to use vintage mason jars for food storage.

There is some cloudiness on the glass, scratches and dullness on the aluminum ring, and slight deformation, but no severe dirt or damage. Both the glass and the ring have been carefully polished to ensure comfortable use.

Regarding the diameter : The size is for a wide mouth, but it can also be used with mason jars of other brands than Presto as long as they are regular mouth size. If you are concerned about the size, please feel free to ask us.
